I'm exploring the Latin dances - bachata, salsa, zouk, Forro, Bolero, Merengue - progressing through the intermediate levels. I'm doing a course one night a week and social dances most fri & sat nights. Live Western suburbs, usually dancing close to Brisbane cbd. Have bought a few DVD's and would like a dance partner to work through the exercises at our pace and fast track learning.
Non smoker, light social drinker. Maybe do competitions in a year or two but aiming to be a good social dancer for the moment.

Have danced a little of a lot of styles. Prefer a synthesis I developed from travelling steps and ceroc style moves. Not into being RIGHT, more about letting the music move the dancer. As such I dance to most music, but not much 50's tweety rock. PS: Since a lot of people ask what style it is I had to come up with a name. I call it SWANK.
Available anytime northside, maybe you can convince me to travel. eg: Broadwater Swing Saturdays are schweet!
