SENIOR COACH for 2010/11

Maddington Cricket Club are looking for a SENIOR COACH for the 2010/11 season.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a successful culture and has the opportunity to work with four senior sides which play in grades 2, 4, 6 & One Day Competition of the South Metropolitan Cricket Association (SMCA).... Maddington Cricket Clubs ultimate goal is to participate in the 1st Grade competition of the SMCA.

Do you think kids should be taught to spit on their hands like Ricky Pointing does?

How would you feel if your 12 year olds starting started spitting in their palms as they crouched down and got ready for a delivery?

I find it nauseating to watch Ponting incessantly chew his finger nails and then spit into his palms as he goes through the motions of getting ready for the next delivery of his bowler.

He should put a black texta message on his hands saying "DON'T SPIT" "DON'T CHEW"

haddin's catches

I reckon this seasons commentators descriptions of Brad Haddin's "spectacular" catches are,like Haddin's actions,way over the over the top.If you watch carefully Haddin has already gloved the ball with his foot still in position on the ground and then he continues on to leap in the air and dive or somersault to complete these catches.In fact he has only reached out to catch the ball.The rest is complete over done HOLLYWOOD. I have yet to see him be off the ground and horizontal in the air before a catch.The commentators hysteria about these so called amazing takes is pure bullshit and I aint gunna buy it. Soccer goalies are the best at off the ground horizontal catches.They really are spectacular.:)

Cricket Protective Equipment Testers Required

I am part of a working group linked to Loughborough University in the UK, focussed on demonstrating the benefit of directing R&D funding to driving true innovation in safety and performance to equipment manufacturers.

We have developed a brief questionnaire that we would like to be completed by players actively involved in Cricket. In turn, we will do everything we can to respond with encouraging a resurgence of cricket product development. Our case would be strongest supported by information from as broad a cross section of the active cricketing population as possible.

We are also recruiting for volunteers to test new equipment. You will have brand new custom equipment made for you at the cutting edge of sports design. All we need is for you to commit to giving us productive feedback on our products before they are released to the market.

This type of study has been performed very successfully in the past, as a catalyst for enormous development of American Football helmets over the last 6 years, including over 25% greater impact protection and real-time diagnostic player health information transmitted directly to coaches on the sideline. We are looking to encourage manufacturers to achieve and market real advances in player safety, with the belief that introducing such products will make sport more enjoyable, accessible and help people enjoy our sport for longer.

Online Streaming Cricket channels in PC

"Hello guys,
I have read a lot about internet satellite tv players.. to be honest, I am quite disappointed because the ones I tried have a pretty poor channel offering and do not actually offer premium channels like ESPN to watch live sports and stuff. Even the quality of the rest of the channels are not good too. After a few weeks I ended up on www.satellite-tv-player.com and it's the only one I would recommend to my friends.As they claim on their website, the software comes with more than 3000 TV channels, 1000+ Radio channels, 1000+ online movies. I got more than 100+ Sports chanenls from it. But the best thing is that the 95% of the TV channels does actually work. I love to watch Cricket Sports . Now i can watch all matches in JTV channels and in ESPN. The updates are sent to all users via a live update service which can be launched anytime via software user interface (you will see an ""update"" button on the top right corner of the software window). You just click on the update button and in a matter of 5-7 seconds you get the updates of the day! The quality of the channels is definitely good for the one-time-fee I paid (29 bucks), including ESPN, CBS, Fox, CNN streams (there is also plenty of European channel I do not know..). On top of this, I have contacted customer support twice to request the addition of two local channels from my area (San Diego); the customer support replied to my email within 12 hours (another website replied to my email after 4 days...) and after 3 days I noticed my 2 channels had been added into the TV Player.. pretty amazing!
