I reckon this seasons commentators descriptions of Brad Haddin's "spectacular" catches are,like Haddin's actions,way over the over the top.If you watch carefully Haddin has already gloved the ball with his foot still in position on the ground and then he continues on to leap in the air and dive or somersault to complete these catches.In fact he has only reached out to catch the ball.The rest is complete over done HOLLYWOOD. I have yet to see him be off the ground and horizontal in the air before a catch.The commentators hysteria about these so called amazing takes is pure bullshit and I aint gunna buy it. Soccer goalies are the best at off the ground horizontal catches.They really are spectacular.
