Ormond Cricket Club

Ormond Cricket Club has a long history and we are based in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Currently we have 4 senior teams (and 12 junior teams) who play on turf and compete in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association that is recognised as the second highest level of cricket in the state (behind Premier cricket). We also have an enormous junior program that includes some unique features such as our Junior Academy that incorporates a winter cricket coaching program. We have enjoyed considerable success over the last few years with our first XI winning the premiership in 2014/15 and last year we won the Victorian metropolitan Under 15 Championship (J G Craig Shield) and the U16 A grade premiership. Our club is full of under 21 players with a sprinkling of more senior players but we are re-building on the back of our Junior Academy. We host a number of social functions, have a proactive social and club committee plus we have fantastic facilities with 4 new enclosed nets being built for the 2017/18 season.
