I've just come over from the UK and I'm looking to join in and improve my fitness. It has been a while since I've played badminton. I'm pretty much available any evening or anytime over the weekend. I'm living in the CBD so can access to the suburbs but not looking to travel too far out.

Badminton is my passion and I have been playing Baddy from a very young age. I must say I was lucky enough to have Coaches/Trainers to hone my skills further to reach a professional level. I have evolved as a sportsman and as a person through this sport and have won some accolades and represented schools/university/companies at state level championships and Corporate Games Melbourne. My focus is to generate awareness about this Sport in my local community and hunt talent who can help our club grow bigger, ultimately making Pakenham a hub of elite Badminton players.

About Badminton in Australia
Badminton is one of the world's fastest racquet sports, requiring sharp reflexes, agility, and excellent hand-eye coordination. It can be played socially or competitively, indoors year-round, making it ideal for the Australian climate.
Getting Started
Most leisure centres and badminton clubs offer casual court hire and beginner programs. Equipment is inexpensive — a starter racquet and a tube of shuttlecocks are all you need. Badminton Australia's club network provides competitive pathways for those looking to improve.
