Peter Kang28 • Male
Five Dock NSW
Beginner
Hello my name is Peter and I am a Beginner level player recently started Badminton this year (2024) around October~November but I have prior experience back in High School. I would love to join a Beginner to Intermediate level social group that play from anywhere between Monday to Friday and some Sundays. I live around Five Dock however I can drive and travel around to different Badminton venues as long as it’s not too far from me. My main objective is to lose weight while improving my badminton skills and not pushing my body too hard which can lead to injuries.

I like playing badminton. I haven’t taken any professional training, but I play fairly well. That’s why I’ve put myself in the beginner skill level. Looking to find someone to play badminton with to lose weight together. I can make myself available from Sat-Tue mornings.

About Badminton in Australia
Badminton is one of the world's fastest racquet sports, requiring sharp reflexes, agility, and excellent hand-eye coordination. It can be played socially or competitively, indoors year-round, making it ideal for the Australian climate.
Getting Started
Most leisure centres and badminton clubs offer casual court hire and beginner programs. Equipment is inexpensive — a starter racquet and a tube of shuttlecocks are all you need. Badminton Australia's club network provides competitive pathways for those looking to improve.
