Have never played badminton (except dodgy school classes about 15 years ago!) but keen to learn. Interested to hear if anyone knows of any social groups to learn how to play properly.

I would like to join a Badminton club. I used to be good at this game when I was at school, even won few prizes. Now I'm 27 yr old and lost touch for almost 7 years in the course of pursuing my career dreams. I'm reasonably fit and plays quality game. All I need is few days of practice to get back into form. I have a car and don't mind picking & dropping somebody who don't have a car to the badminton club who stays around Riverton. I don't know any badminton clubs, please contact me if you are aware of any badminton club. Cheers,

About Badminton in Australia
Badminton is one of the world's fastest racquet sports, requiring sharp reflexes, agility, and excellent hand-eye coordination. It can be played socially or competitively, indoors year-round, making it ideal for the Australian climate.
Getting Started
Most leisure centres and badminton clubs offer casual court hire and beginner programs. Equipment is inexpensive — a starter racquet and a tube of shuttlecocks are all you need. Badminton Australia's club network provides competitive pathways for those looking to improve.
