Hi, I run a successful social basketball team that plays in a Linsay Gaze managed basketball competition at Fitzroy High School on a Tuesday night. The teams in the comp range from A at the top of the ladder to B at the bottom they have split finals. It is a friendly fun comp and fiercely competitive. The team has been going now for about five years and we are well organised with weekly emails to confirm availability. There has been a few recent departures so we are on the look out for new players, guys who want a regular run. I use to play junior basketball to under 18s for 5 years. I am wanting to join a beginners team as I am looking to get back into basketball. I was power forward / small forward back then but im sure at 5'10 my height may disadvantage some teams nowadays however, my hardiness will not. I am 88kgs and can run the floor. A bit rusty but it will all come back to me once I start playing again. The main thing is the passion / fire / desire to get on court and compete with a team is there. Not fussed if im a reserve, preferred for now. Avaliable any night. Happy to travel around north west suburbs. But prefer Broadmeadows, Cragieburn, Coburg. Hope to hear from you soon.

Wanting to Join a basketball team, play as an off gaurd either the one or the two... Currently out of shape but am doing intensive cardio to get back into the flow and be able to play full court. Excel in the half court/ pick up game but need to learn the full court game. Am an amazing passer and have a good three point shot off the screen, work well off the pick and role. Ok so I am a bit of a hoops junkie and want to meet like minded people pick up or organized ball.

Hi. Our season is ending, its the last game this week. It has been a great first season as we have picked up a few core players for the team. As our first trial season went so well, I am now on the hunt for 4 new players to help replenish our stock, we have a few injuries and surgeries in the works. I am looking for players committed enough for a post/pre-season regime over the next 6 months. We're taking a little break before resuming for some serious growth and development in our individual and team skills. At which point we will look to enter 2 basketball leagues. We are aiming to play twice a week so that we make the most of our team. I have 6 committed players right now and we're looking for 4 more so that we can have numbers to train with. We will literally be going away for 2 weekend during pre/post season to get to know each other, have some fun and build up a great bball team.
