I am looking for a C/PF (6 foot 3+) to join my basketball team. The team is full of aging former rep and college has-beens slowly declining as age steals our agility trying to recapture past glories. We play Thursday nights in Division 2 at KGV located at The Rocks, Sydney. The Australian Hotel is located conveniently across the road in the event of a win (which is suprisingly quite regular enough). If you think this sounds like your perfect team and you fit our needs please send me a message.

Hi, I'm looking to join a Section 1/A grade women's basketball team, and/or a mixed basketball team. I have played rep for 8 years when growing up and recently have been playing in 3x section 1 women's teams in Melbourne (about to move to Albury) but haven't played rep for a few years. Hoping to find a good standard comp and play in a friendly team! Available weeknights and some but not all weekends.

About Basketball in Australia
Basketball is a fast-paced, high-energy sport that combines athleticism, strategy, and teamwork. It can be played outdoors on a half-court or indoors in a full competition setting, making it one of the most accessible team sports in Australia.
Getting Started
Many local leisure centres run social basketball competitions and 3x3 competitions that welcome players of all abilities. Basketball Australia's 'Big V', 'NBL1', and state league competitions offer a pathway for more competitive players.
