Hi, I've just started turning up to skills training sessions at my local PCYC and I've discovered I really love basketball, so it would be great to find a friend to shoot around with or a social team to join. Im free in the evenings or Sunday's or Tuesdays. Closest outdoor court to me would be Tempe, but I'm open to suggestions, esp if you know of an indoor court thats not booked out. I'm 5ft and have (very mild) CP, so I'm no Michael Jordan, but I have plenty of enthusiasm :-).

Hey guys, just moved to Lane Cove and I'm keen to join a weekly sports team. I'm quite energetic, a team player and pretty fit. I used to play basketball, netball and volleyball. I'd like to join a social/competitive team and am available weeknights and weekends for training/games. Let me know if there are any teams or spots available that you may know of. Thanks! :-)

About Basketball in Australia
Basketball is a fast-paced, high-energy sport that combines athleticism, strategy, and teamwork. It can be played outdoors on a half-court or indoors in a full competition setting, making it one of the most accessible team sports in Australia.
Getting Started
Many local leisure centres run social basketball competitions and 3x3 competitions that welcome players of all abilities. Basketball Australia's 'Big V', 'NBL1', and state league competitions offer a pathway for more competitive players.
Basketball in Australia
Basketball is played in every Australian capital city and most regional centres, with indoor stadiums and outdoor courts widely available. The NBL is Australia's premier men's competition, while the WNBL showcases elite women's basketball. Find basketball players and teams near you on Sports Match Maker.
