I am 28, from Scotland in the Uk. I am new to Brisbane, living in Bulimba. I am looking for a netball team to join, playing at weekends or evenings for exercise, to meet people and I am up for playing in some competitions too. I played netball at school and was a member of a local team back in Scotland, though it has been a few years since I last played. My positions back home were attacking/forward positions, generally GA (as I liked being able to move and create scoring opportunities as well as taking them myself) but also played GS or C. My strong point is shooting but I am quite versatile and have also played defensive positions occasionally, if required for the team (GD/GK). I am quite mobile, no car at the moment, so can travel to meets. Looking forward to getting started!!

I haven't played for about 3 years and before that I played Saturday netball for 5 years with some night competitions in between. I wouldn't say that I am the greatest, but definately give it my all on the court!! I only play WD (can play WA but prefer not to) as I only started playing when I was 16 and that was the main position I was taught. I would prefer to play in a Saturday, outdoor competition but would also play weeknights. I am after a competitive team but also want it to be a fun environment.. I have only just moved to Brisbane from interstate so I am also looking to make some friends.

Hey! am looking for an intermediate team that plays on either a Tuesday or Monday or weekends around Brisbane. I have played netball since i was young and played social to div 1 and have obtained my C grade district umpiring badge. I have not played in the last year so looking for something that is slightly competitive but fun so i can get my fitness levels back up and also meet new people. I have just moved here from Canada. I am very athletic, and play organized soccer and softball usually. I can competently play most sports, and give everything my all! I would really like to learn a new sport, and it seems netball is VERY popular for women my age here! I promise to work really hard to gain skills!
