Hey there, Currently I am getting back into my sports after a break and am really enjoying becoming fitter again. I am aiming to train (just for fun) to run a half marathon and looking for someone or a group with a similar interest to train together and be a motivation. I am free during the week at night times anytime and also weekends. Hit me up if you are keen. Cheers.

Running long distances makes me feel alive and like me. I run between 10-16 km every day and wish to find a long distance runner who would like to join me one or two days per week. I am happy to run further. It would be nice for running not always to be a solitary sport.

Looking for a running partner on weekends to run around Princes Park and Royal Park. My pace is steady and slow and I run between 5-10km, 6km in 40min and 10km in 1hr 5min. Looking for someone that can either challenge me or ensure that the activity is a regular commitment. Would consider running the tan or the lake if that is more suitable. I am open to running at lunch time, evening or weekends

Keen runner. Have taken part in many organised events including 10km, half marathon, Oxfam 100km trek etc. Always difficult to get motivated, particularly after the festive season so looking to get contacts around the Reservoir/Darebin area for social running/jogging to keep me motivated but also social and fun.

About Running in Australia
Running is one of the simplest and most effective forms of exercise, requiring nothing more than a pair of shoes and the open road. From parkrun to ultramarathons, Australia has a vibrant and welcoming running community for every pace and distance.
Getting Started
Joining a local running club is a great way to stay motivated, learn from experienced runners, and find training partners for long runs. Apps like Strava and events like parkrun (free, every Saturday) make it easy to connect with other runners.
Running in Australia
Major running events like the Sydney Running Festival, Melbourne Marathon, and Gold Coast Marathon attract tens of thousands of participants each year. Trail running is especially popular in the Blue Mountains, Dandenong Ranges, and Perth Hills. Find a running partner near you on Sports Match Maker.
