I'm trying to get back into jogging but find I do better with a jogging buddy. Would be great if I could find someone to jog with twice a week. My pace however is pretty slow so you would either be getting back into it or I may be a warm up before you take off ha ha. I'm still intermittant jog/walk and am looking to get that to all jogging. I live near the Bay Walk inner west so round there would be great. I am available most mornings but quite early and some weeknights and on weekends.

If anyone wants a jogging partner for anything between 2km and 15km let me know. I am not pro but not slow. I would only be interested in doing this in the inner-north suburbs of Brisbane (close to Ascot).

Hi, I'm a beginner runner - can run about 20 minutes at 9.5kmph. Looking to build on this but generally have run only on treadmills. Looking for others who are beginners - walking building up to running type level- to run around the city, east or inner west with me on weekend mornings. I am only here on weekends. Good luck with your running...

I'm looking for a local running buddy to train with and to enter events with. I run because it feels good, I don't take it too seriously and I'd like to find someone to run socially with. I recently entered my first event and completed the half-marathon at Run Melbourne 2009. I have entered the full-marathon in the upcoming Melbourne Marathon 2009. After this one, I don't plan on running any more long events and will stick to the 5km, 10km and 15km events. I tend to run at a pace between 10km/h and 14km/h. If you live locally, can run at a leisurely 10km/h for at least 30 minutes then send me an email.

About Running in Australia
Running is one of the simplest and most effective forms of exercise, requiring nothing more than a pair of shoes and the open road. From parkrun to ultramarathons, Australia has a vibrant and welcoming running community for every pace and distance.
Getting Started
Joining a local running club is a great way to stay motivated, learn from experienced runners, and find training partners for long runs. Apps like Strava and events like parkrun (free, every Saturday) make it easy to connect with other runners.
