Swinburne FC consists of two men's teams (Seniors and Reserves) and one women's team. The men compete in the Amateur Soccer Federation of Victoria (called VicSoccer) and play in the Premier League - the club has over 60 active members and also provide a direct link to the university, providing students with a chance to play football. After several successful years, our coach has moved aside. We are now looking and taking applications for our new Men's Coach's position for the 2012 season. The successful applicant will provide the committee with a clear plan for the future in regards to player development - the new coach will also embed their own culture on the club as we look to grow and expand. I have recently moved to Melbourne from England. I used to play competitively up to university. At uni I played in a soccer 6's league and played with the uni 3rd team. I have a sweet left foot and can play in all positions on the left hand side and up top. I would be interested in joining a weekend team mainly to keep fit and have fun but will be always wanting to win!
