Been playing squash regularly for a few months now. I've played tennis all my life so my hitting skills aren't bad but I still have no tactical sense on the court. Looking for players to hit with around South Yarra and the city.

Hi, I used to play squash during my uni days, and have irregularly played since. I do sometimes travel during work days, however, if I am not, than I'd like to play week nights or weekends. I can travel to Brunswick area, Melbourne Uni, Flemington and nearby suburbs. Originally from New Zealand, working as a professional.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
