New to Melbourne and based in Macleod - looking for new partners to play with. I used to play 2-3 times a week but haven't played seriously for at least 5 years, so probably a bit rusty! I am available on weekends, weekday evenings and possibly early mornings depending on location.

Have played squash socially for years but as my mates and I are pushing 50 most have given up due to injury/ fitness. Keen for.a semi regular game, msac or Moorabbin would be good. Can be flexible with days/ time but evenings during week or weekend. Haven't played for about a year (as at Aug 23) so have probably moved to beginner when accounting for fitness and rust :)

I've been playing socially with a couple of mates for a few years but unfortunately they moved interstate chasing warmer weather. I'm looking for new people to play with once a week at either MSAC or Moorabbin ideally. I'm pretty flexible with weekdays/weekends to suit.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
