Probably a bit out of shape at the moment. But interested in getting back in the court at least once a week in the evenings, preferably after 6pm. I've played different racquet sports when I was younger (tennis, squash, fronton) I would describe as competitive.

Hey! Never played before however and have played a lot of tennis... not sure how transferable to skills are but a quick learner so hopefully wont be too painfull to show me the ropes. I live in Chatswood and can play most weekdays after 1600hrs. Work in Marrickville so can play in the area closer to 1500hrs. Open to weekends as well. Thanks.

Seeking an intermediate player for a social hit where its a good challenge for both players. Played for about 6 or 7 years, once a week in a social competition and have been playing once a month for the past 6 months after a 2 year break. Would like to play locally in the evenings around 8 or 830pm on weekdays.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
