Hi everyone, I am looking for a squash partner. I used to play on a regular basis (twice to 3 times a week) during one year, but I never took any lessons... probably used my tennis knowledge! And I only played with people like me, so I don't really know my level against really trained squash player... but at this time I was able to have intense games! I am living in Paddington, my office is in Pyrmont but I am mobile. I am available almost all weekdays evening. Cheers! ps: I am french, sorry for my mistakes in english!

Have recently moved into the area and would love to play squash locally. Am free most evenings and weekends. Have played before and know the basic rules and skills and can play well. If anyone knows somewhere locally where I can play and is looking for a player to play with please get in touch.

I play two competitions during the week and have a Squash Matrix ranking of about 110. I'm mainly looking for some casual games during the summer break and am happy to play against anyone who enjoys the game and doesn't play for sheep stations. I'm available to play casually from up to 17 December 2010 and then mid-January till mid-March 2011. I can fit in the occasional casual game during the comp season too. I can travel to the Hills area, Parramatta, Liverpool and Campbelltown area as well.

Hi all, I've been playing squash very casually for a year or so. I just arrived from the UK and would like to keep playing, so I'm looking for beginners (or tolerant/patient intermediates :) who'd like to play every so often. I'm in the CBD and I'll be able to play week nights and weekends.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
