Hi. I'm picking back up on squash after having mostly played tennis for years. I used to play squash fairly regularly in my 20s. I've just moved to Paddington and joined Bondi-Waverley Squash Club. I'm a writer and would prefer to play during the day (any day) if anyone else has a flexible schedule.

I haven't played squash in years and looking to get back into the sport and play more regularly. At a beginner-intermediate level and happy to play socially but I can get quite competitive. Available some weeknights and Saturdays in the Campbelltown - Liverpool zone. St. George area works for me too.

I am an 'OK' player looking for someone to play with a couple/three times a week. I used to have a parter but due to work commitments he can no longer play. I am playing for fitness and because its great fun! I am more then happy to play in the mornings (6am/7am) lunch if in the CBD or evenings. I have a membership at Bondi but would happily play somewhere else. Over the bridge may be slightly more difficult but wouldn't say no!

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
