Hi, I used to play squash regularly as a bit of exercise for around 2-3 years. I haven’t played for about 6 years and looking to start playing again. I would say I am at the lower intermediate level skills wise and looking to play once a week in the evenings after 6pm on a weekday ideally at Albert park but I can travel a little bit.

Beginner/Intermediate level. Been playing on and off for the past 10 years. Would love to have a match or train/practice. Keen to meet new people, keep fit, and improve on my squash. Available most weekday mornings and some Saturdays. Prefer to play in the St. George area but happy to travel to Sutherland, Sydney or Liverpool too. Text: 0449 692 701

I’m getting back into squash after having played as a teenager, keen to find someone who is up for a casual hit every few weeks now restrictions have eased preferably weeknights but can do other times if needed. I’m probably on the lower end of intermediate but have only had a few hits since getting back into it so hopefully I pick it up again fairly quickly. I’m closest to the Wantirna/Boronia courts but happy to travel to Monash Uni or Templestowe.

I used to play squash years ago in school but had to stop, wanting to take up the game again, no expert but I don't mind a bit of a game every once in a while, don't mind if it's casual or competitive just want someone I can hit the ball with. Best place near me for squash I think is the ingle farm recreational centre. I am free monday-friday after 5.30pm but not on weekends. Thanks

Hi, haven’t played for nearly 10 years. Would describe myself as beginner to intermediate. I’ve always enjoyed playing socially and would love to get back into it and meet some new people. Live on the north shore.

Absolutely beginner in squash, but I've played tennis for many year so I can hit the ball :) I'm available either weekends and weekdays and can arrange daytime or evenings. Willing to play once or twice a week; for a match or only hitting/drills. Northeaster suburbs are easier for me.

Haven't been playing for a number of years and looking for a partner on the same level to start again. Can play anywhere south of the river and available most days but prefer Sunday afternoon. Leeming rec is my preference but can do other clubs.

Hi, I would like to enjoy a social game to get fit and improve my game. It's been many years since I was on a court, but would like to get back on. Would welcome a person(s) who would enjoy similar. Thanks

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
