I have been playing the sport for more than a year now. Not a great player, but have been in love with the sport. I recently moved to Melbourne. I am flexible with my availability. We can work out the details of the location.

Hi, I've just moved over from the UK and I'm looking to continue playing badminton or squash anytime between Monday - Thursday(I'm between intermediate and advanced level for both). I live in the CBD without a car at the mo, so anywhere north of the river and local to the city would be good! Cheers, Sam

In the CBD looking for a partner at intermediate level to have a few competitive games with once or twice a week. I've played quite a lot during university but want to get back into it after a few years without hitting a ball. Happy to accept a challenge of someone at a higher level or help a novice come along.

I have played squash regularly for a few years. Due to a bad injury I haven't played for some time. I would like to play a fairly gentle game on a weekly basis because of this. I would be interested in meeting a person who enjoys the game, maybe has also been injured but still would like to play, but a bit slower ! A day or evening during the week is good and preferably near Midland.

Hi, I used to play squash ages ago in a beginner comp and am wanting to get back into it. Hoping to find someone (pref another female) who might be available at least once a month to go for a game. I can play Moorabbin, Brighton, Dingley (fitness centre), Dandenong Oasis. Weeknights and some weekends ok.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
