Played about once a week about 3 years ago but a bit rusty and looking to get back into it. Probably between beginner and intermediate level but happy to play players of any ability. Best court would be Sydney Law School courts in Sydney CBD during the week - can sometimes play during the day but obviously mornings or evenings best.

Hi looking for someone to have a game with - prefer Inner West on weekend and happy to try Merrylands one evening during week. Played pennant for a decade 20-30yo finishing in B grade and Masters at 35/36. Long time ago and lost a lot of fitness and gained too much weight. Anyone interested in a social game during evening, Saturday or Sunday let me know. thanks Carolyn

I have just started hitting the ball again. It's been a while but would love to find someone to have a game with, either weekly or on occasion. I currently go to Macquarie sports centre and I am available most evenings (other than Wed) after 8pm.

Just returned from three years traveling and very keen to get back into the fitness. I love playing squash and have brought my racquet over with me. Happy to travel to play, still learning about where is good to play, but interested in meeting up for a hit or joining a team/tournament.

I have recently joined the Bondi and Waverly Squash club located at Bondi Junction. A bit about me, I'm male, married, late 30's, was of a reasonable standard many years back but generally unfit and slow these days, hopefully getting fitter and faster as the year moves along. I would like to find others who are competitive but not wanky about it, social (there is a pool table and bar at the club too) and reliable. Generally after work works better for me (say after 7:30pm). Let me know if you are interested.

Used to play squash 3 years ago on a twice weekly basis and am now looking to get back into it. I'm free to play Wednesday or thursday nights. Somewhere around the CBD or lower north shore would be best.

I've played squash for a bit more than a year in 2011, about twice- three times a week but have not played since (only 2 games in one year). I have just moved to Sydney and would like to start playing again. At the moment available any time but by the end of Jan only evenings or weekends. Keen to play against any level players

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
