I have not played in many years but was an OK player in my time. I would rate myself at somewhere around an Intermediate (at best) and a bit rusty at present. Only interested in casual playing to get/keep fit and enjoy the game. CBD area preferred. M or F OK. Can play most weeknights or even some weekends.

MOUNT HAWTHORN, WA
Intermediate
I've just moved to Perth and would like to get some weekly games going. I've been playing socially for a few years now so I'm pretty able, but not a pro - keen to get a bit more competitive! I'm free to play any night except Wednesday, and happy to play during the day on weekends. I'd ideally like to play somewhere near Mt Hawthorn (eg - mt lawly or cambridge) but I'm happy to travel, within reason.

Like all sports. But especially squash and tennis. Would like to meet and play people with similar like. Think I am decent at both and would welcome all levels. It would be for fun and fitness. Live in Glen Iris - so any place nearby would suit. Weeknights (after 7pm) and weekends would suit me best. Like to jog few times a week and ride a bicycle.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
