I am also passionate about water sports, diving and surfing. I am just a summer surfist so it seems like I can never pass the beginners level...but I have fun anyways! I am looking for a girl friend keen to jump in the waters of Eartern suburbs with me.

Just relocated from Newcastle NSW to Melbourne. I've had a few sessions down Torquay way, and it's definitely top quality down there. Looking for someone to head down the coast, who is reasonable familiar with the beaches, over the weekend to have a session when the wind/waves are working.

Got a little rav4 we usually go to Two Rocks or wherever it's looking good for a surf, try to go surfing at least once a week. Every now and then down to Margs as well... About Surfing in Australia
Surfing is intrinsic to Australian coastal culture. Riding ocean waves on a surfboard, from gentle beach breaks to powerful reef breaks, demands balance, timing, fitness, and a deep respect for the ocean. Australia has produced some of the world's greatest surfers and most iconic surf destinations.
Getting Started
Surfing schools and surf lifesaving clubs across Australia run beginner lessons in safe, supervised conditions. Learning ocean safety and basic paddling and pop-up technique in small, broken waves is the recommended starting point. Soft-top boards are ideal for beginners.
Surfing in Australia
Australia's coastline offers world-class surf breaks from Bells Beach and Torquay in Victoria to Snapper Rocks and Kirra on the Gold Coast, Bondi Beach in Sydney, and Margaret River in Western Australia.
