About Table-Tennis in Australia
Table tennis is a lightning-fast racquet sport that develops exceptional reflexes, hand-eye coordination, and tactical thinking. Accessible to all ages and fitness levels, it can be played for fun or at an elite competitive level — and is one of the most widely played sports in the world.
Getting Started
Table Tennis Australia affiliated clubs and recreation centres offer beginner sessions and competitions across the country. Equipment is inexpensive — a basic bat and a box of balls is enough to start practising. Club competitions run in graded divisions to ensure fair and enjoyable play.
