I used to play in my teens and have taken quite a break from playing. I am now serious about improving my game and want to practice with someone and eventually enter some local tournaments soon.

Hi, my name is Jonathan Nguyen, 20 years old. I'm looking to play with new people at the QLD Tennis Centre, Tennyson. I have been playing for a few years now and have a consistent forehand, backhand and serve. It would be great if we can have some rallies. Hey! I am someone who's always been passionate about sports and loved spending a great deal of time on it. I played tennis about 4 years ago, when I was taught by a coach, but stopped playing as I moved and started again a year ago, but due to lack of time and a hitting partner, stopped again. So beginner/intermediate level. Need a few months to get the hang of it again. Please let me know if you're interested! Please note: I'd be interested in both competitive and fun hitting. Available: most weekdays after 3:30/4, all weekend (but gotta organise a time a few days before)

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
