Looking for a hitting partner to play on weekend. I live at Dutton Park and I have been playing tennis for Many years but only got serious for the last two years. I take regular lessons and training sessions. I need more practice and get better at what I love.

I have played it since my high school, but never continuously. I've had a few sessions of coaching at times but I usually look for playing to have fun and some movement and sport to keep in shape. Looking forward for invitations to play with anybody.

Hi, I'm looking for a tennis partner to practice with once or twice a week. I'm 35 years old, but I'm open to having a hit out with anyone who's keen, age is not an issue. I'm hoping to find someone who just wants to enjoy hitting a ball around the court and get a bit of fitness out of it. I don't mind travelling a little distance to play, but would prefer somewhere southside. I've played tennis through my school years but haven't played for about 20 years, so my skill level is beginner to intermediate at best. I'd like to play social tennis once I reacquaint myself on the court again. Anytime after 6pm weeknights or weekends.

Hi, I'm looking for a hitting partner for my 11yr old son. He plays 25hrs/week. We live in Cleveland, we could possibly travel, however someone coming to Cleveland would suit better. I am after an advanced player, male or female, junior or adult, up to 12hrs/wk. He has a coach, therefore we only require someone who can hit consistently well for sustained rallies. Remuneration for your time is $20/hr. Please ph/text 0448144943. Many thanks, Martin.

Looking for some people who are keen for a hit on the weekends. Am a strong player on the court although my serving needs a bit of training. I live on the south side but willing to travel around my area. Cheers.

I've been playing tennis on and off for most of my life, I stopped for a few year when kids came along but started again 8 years ago. I've never played serious competition but enjoy a hit with anyone of a similar experience level. I work for myself so am flexible on times to play. Happy to hear from anyone in Mt Ommaney, Jindalee area or happy to travel to Indooroopilly or Toowong.

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
