Is there a group out there who would welcome another player,I would like to join group of people and a have a social game of tennis. I wouldn't say my technique is great, but I can hit the ball.I haven't played for many years, so will be rather rusty, but I love the game and would enjoy the social side as well as get the exercise. I am available Tuesdays, and Fridays during the day. Areas that are close to me would be Wynnum, Manly,Tingalpa,Capalaba,Birkdale.

Beginner
Hi, I want to play tennis with people in Ipswich Qld. I love this game but I've only really started playing the last few years off and on. My style is a single handed backhand with precise shots but with less power but my serve needs work. I am a beginner but have potential to be a intermediate player. I am looking to play on Sundays maybe other days as well but would have to be worked out on a week to week basis. I am looking to hire a court and play matches, or help out if your a more advanced player and need a hitting partner. I also would like to play in doubles tournaments later on if I could get decent enough. If you are interested add me to face book: Steven Marnock with a message about this add. Hope to hear from you. Cheers

I wouldn't say I'm a great player but I can hit the ball over the net. I am looking for someone to meet up and hit the ball around the court and give me some tips on the way. Availability changes with me all the time so you will need to ask me a time cos I work as a casual job. Anywhere around Bracken Ridge would be nice but can go to other places as well.

Have played on and off for 20 years, though not much lately. Very keen to get back into it and play once or twice a week. Day and night both OK. Am not far from Cambridge tennis club at Springwood, so would be handy but other venues fine too.

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
