Hi, I'm 19 years old and have been playing tennis since I was in grade 5, but recently haven't played for about a year, I will call myself intermediate but close to advance, I'm looking for a hitting partner in the eastern/western suburbs that has the same level of skills and can return the ball good and has a good serve mostly available on weekends and sometimes on weekdays so give me a call to see. Be willing to travel 20 mins out of St. Albans

I consider myself an upper-intermediate player. I played tennis as a kid and picked it up again about 10 years ago. I don't play much comp but prefer to play casual but competitive singles. I don't have a car so would prefer to play at my club in Hawthorn, either in the evening or at weekends.

i'm a member at Chadeston tennis club, and I'm seeking a tennis partner to have a hit from time to time. You don't have to be a member in the club to play tennis there. I'm happy to have a hit anytime weekdays or weekends. Although I undertook tennis lessons, I conceder my self as a begenner player.

Looking for Intermediate/Advance players who are consistent and can hold a rally. Mainly match play as well as working on certain areas of the game (eg. returning serve, hitting cross court to cross court). I play pennant and A grade. Can play fortnightly on the weekend, time varies due to full time but happy to work out a time so that it is regular. I live in inner-west Melbourne and have a car to travel. Message me if interested, checked regularly, thanks.

Hey there. I am a Danish journalist covering Australian Open and I'd like to play a little tennis in the sun while I'm there. I will be in Perth from January 8 to 15 and in Melbourne (St. Kilda) from January 16 to February 5. Played for 25 years - in pretty good shape. Cheers.

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
