Hi, I am new to Melbourne and looking for social tennis/ hitting partners. I have played tennis for 5 years but only want it to be casual nowadays. I am located in the CBD but happy to travel. I prefer evenings 7:30 onwards, during the day 9am-3pm. Please let me know if you know or any team/one and I'd love to know about it. Thank you in advance!

Been playing tennis for 10 years now and absolutely love it (especially when the ball goes where you want it to go!). Available all days and times except Wednesdays (full day of uni argh!) I'm a member at Cranbourne Tennis club and will be renewing my membership in Noble Park. Happy to travel to other places that are convenient for the both of us (nothing like a little adventure!). Looking for people around my age preferably (18-25).

I have attended a group class for 1 term but honestly haven't seen much progress. I'm kind of looking for someone to practice with and maybe help me improve my game? I'm available Monday evenings and weekends. I live in the CBD so if possible just around the city but I used to go to Caulfield for the free court.

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
