I used to play in Age group and junior tournaments and now I occasionally play whenever I have people to hit with. Looking for a hitting partner to play weekly of fortnightly. Preferably in inner Melbourne suburbs since I don't drive. I consider myself intermediate level and would like to play with someone who considers themselves intermediate or advanced level. Free most of the time during summer.

I just recently moved to melbourne and am looking for people to hit with on a casual and fun basis. I played tennis since i was 14 and played local competitions as well as being part of a varsity team for 4 years in university in the Usa. The team was a division 3 team. After college 2014 i have not been able to get the chance to play with different people and thus would to keep my tennis performance going and would like to play casual / fun tennis. Currently i am available through the week. Location waise i live in melbourne and would prefer places that arent too far from here

Tennis is a comparatively newer sport that I have picked up, although I have played it off and on in the last 6-7 years. However being generally athletic I am good to hold a few rallies. I am available most weekdays in the evening and weekends in the morning. I have access to Sanctuary Lakes courts.

All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
