Have not played or had a proper hit for a few years now and am looking to change this and have social/regular hits with somebody who is keen. Hi all, I have played tennis for years but since moving to Australia have not played much. I am now going on about 5 years or more without hitting and have been wanting to get back on the courts again. Since I haven’t played for ages, I would call myself a beginner but I know the game quite well. Evenings and/or Sundays would be my best availability for a hit. Prefer to play near my area (SE suburbs) but can also travel to somewhere nearby.

I’m wishing to get back into tennis after a 4-5 year hiatus. I have previously played twice weekly since I was about 12 years old. Will be rusty at first but can still have a good rally and hit a serve. I’m available most evenings and weekends with some flexibility!

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
