Hello there, I just picked up tennis in March 2018 and had so much fun bouncing around. Would like a tennis hitting partner to have a hit with, develop some skills. My availability varies due to work. I don't have a membership just yet but my local courts are Fawkner Reserve, Melbourne Park, Albert Reserve and probably Carlton.

Exp: I've been playing on and off since I was a kid. Probably floating somewhere in between intermediate and advanced. I don't mind playing matches, but mainly interested in having a good hit. Location: pretty lazy when it comes to travel, so prefer south-side courts. Availability: weekday nights, Saturdays

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
