Hello, Looking to play to improve my skill level up. I used to play when I was much younger and I just started taking lessons again. I definitely need to improve my level, especially for the serves..???? I can be available to play during the week after work, and why not during weekends. Ideally I'd like to play in rushcutter bay park but I'm open for another location.

Looking to play frequently to get my skill level up to competition standard. Played as a kid and just picking it up again. My serve is rubbish and needs improvement however, am fit. Happy to drive, and looking for someone who is fun, social but also secretly competitive.

Hi, I’m looking for a tennis friend to start playing a few games around the sunny coast. I’ve only ever played socially and might be a bit rusty to start with. I’m available some weekends, and most week nights. Cheers, Jay.

I’m a chick but I can play! Played all through my teens up to state level. Gave it away for work/family. Haven’t played in years but am back on track after a few coaching sessions. Looking for a hit every couple of weeks or so, week nights or sundays. Haberfield is best location.

We play social tennis at Sunshine Park TC on Sunday afternoons. Whilst it is social we always play matches (singles, doubles, american doubles). Newcomers always welcome!

Hey there. I'm Elena and am looking for a companion to play tennis on Wednesday nights around the City, North Sydney, Newtown. Pretty much anywhere close to the trains. I usually play on Camperdown tennis court as it's not that busy there. Anyway, message if interested!

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.
