Playing on and off since a child. No competition experience but can generally hold rallies well with similarly skilled internediate players - I'm mainly a base liner with top spin forehand, decent slice backhand and serve. Available any time on weekday evenings and anytime on weekends. Locations around Baron are good such as Frew Park, Rain worth School, St Lucia, UQ.

Hi I am interested in playing singles around Heathmont on Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays from 7pm onwards. I can also play on weekend afternoons on some occasions. I have played socially for about 10 years or so and can hold a decent rally. I have not had proper coaching though so my style may be slightly unorthodox.

I learnt to play tennis as a child in country WA. I had about a 20 year break until my son took up tennis at 3 years old, 15 years ago. We moved to Melbourne 3 years ago for him to train at Melbourne Park. I had a fews years off again due to health issues, but now that I am 20kg lighter and very fit I am looking for as many hits a week as I can find. I prefer during the day, as I work from home. I am not currently a club member, but happy to pay court hire if necessary. I live close to Boroondarra Tennis Centre but happy to travel. Would prefer a male or a strong fit female.

I have played tennis with friends and family for some years (played competition at an average level). I can rally on both sides but my serve is a bit weak. Availability is weeknights after work and don't mind traveling up to about 40 minutes to get to a court.

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
