Hi Guys - I'm looking for a tennis partner to play either during weekdays or weekends. Weekdays after 6:30 pm and would prefer morning hours during the weekends. I've recently joined classes and I'm at beginner level.

I'm also looking for a tennis partner to play around Carlton/CBD. I can play around lunch time on most week days with one day notice. My preferred place to play is the Carlton Gardens Tennis Club but I can also play elsewhere as long as it's a reasonable distance from Carlton (I work in Carlton and I can cycle to nearby tennis courts). I've been playing on and off since I was 7. I'm fit and my level is intermediate (4.0 to 4.5 NTRP).

Currently play grade 4 number 1. Have played as high as grade 2 Melbourne pennant. Looking to find another hit or two during the week or w/e. I live around Box Hill and am a member at some courts in Camberwell. Let me know if you're interested in a one off or regular hit/match. Anywhere around inner east is ideal but happy to travel to city. Grade 3 pennant or higher standard preferred. Cheers Mick

I am seeking some tennis hitting partners, I have been playing now for several years, and live close to my local courts and I am a member ( so No court costs here) I work shift work which rotates weekly so I am available most days mornings, afternoons and evenings. I would play every day if I can find someone to put at the other end! Fairly fit but want to get fitter and play better! Also happy to come to your courts! ( as long as it doesn't require me packing a lunch and a compass) Cheers Andrew.

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.
