I have played it since my high school, but never continuously. I've had a few sessions of coaching at times but I usually look for playing to have fun and some movement and sport to keep in shape. Looking forward for invitations to play with anybody.

Hi, I'm looking for a tennis partner to practice with once or twice a week. I'm 35 years old, but I'm open to having a hit out with anyone who's keen, age is not an issue. I'm hoping to find someone who just wants to enjoy hitting a ball around the court and get a bit of fitness out of it. I don't mind travelling a little distance to play, but would prefer somewhere southside. I've played tennis through my school years but haven't played for about 20 years, so my skill level is beginner to intermediate at best. I'd like to play social tennis once I reacquaint myself on the court again. Anytime after 6pm weeknights or weekends.

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.
