Looking for a tennis partner to hit the ball once/twice a week. I played for 10 years in a club/tournament as a kid and now I'm enjoying playing for fun. I live in Northbridge and usually play at Robertson Tennis Centre, but any place nearby could fit.

Played a lot of tennis as a youngster, didn't play for a long period, and then got back into it a couple of years ago. Was playing several times a week in the US until recently but have just returned to Sydney. Would love to play sets, but mostly looking to have fun and work on fitness. Flexible hours.

Hi, I am a 30 year old Fifo worker and i want to start playing some casual but regular sports again like tennis or volleyball on my weeks back home. Looking for someone to play against with tennis, even if its just to hit the ball back and forth and have a laugh. I am available pretty much day or night on my weeks off so time is not an issue. I am in the Melville/Myaree area so anywhere near there would be great.

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
