Have recently moved into the area and would love to play tennis locally. Am free most evenings and weekends. Have played before and know the basic rules and skills and can play reasonably well. I have local courts where I live and so just need someone living close by to join me.

Hi, I'm a intermediate/ advanced player looking for a hitting partner on a regular basis. I used to play for sch n currently with a club n participate in their tournaments including pennant occassionally. I would say I'm around ntrp 4.0. Keen to either have a hit or match play (preferably around my level). I don't mind traveling as well (as long as it's accessible for me). Eg. Melbourne park is far but fine with me. Or I have court access at burwood. Keen to play as much as possible! Juz contact me at 0421888810. Cheers! " ) Aden

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
