Sirens Gridiron Club

The Canberra Sirens Gridiron Club is a newly formed club for women to play Gridiron also known as American Football in the ACT. The Club was founded in August 2013 by people who have been playing gridiron in the ACT.With many years of experience in the Gridiron Community as players and as executive members we felt that a women’s competition would benefit the sport in the ACT. Gridiron is a game that caters for women of all strengths, ages and size. There is always a position for you no matter your strengths. The Sirens aims are to become an established club in the community and to ensure the growth of Gridiron for women. Our encouragement and commitment to the players will provide promotion, development and game opportunities for many years to come. Our club has established a group of core players from experienced players to rookie players.Our players are from many different sporting backgrounds such as AFL, soccer and athletics.
