South Belgrave Cricket Club

We are looking for a coach and or an experienced top order batsman. Affiliated in the Ferntree Gully and District Cricket Association, we have 4 senior teams, 2 veterans’ sides and 4 junior teams. The seniors train on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the club. We had a successful season in 2012/13 with 1sts making the semi-final, 2nds winning flag, U/17 winning flag and vets and U/15 making grand-final. Our 1st X1 has made the finals 5 times in 8 years and we are looking for the improvement required to win the premiership and be promoted into the top grade. We already have a team of people to assist the coach with batting, bowling and development of junior players. We are happy for you to focus most attention on the 1st X1. Remuneration to be discussed and we are looking to appoint the right person for a longer term (3 years). We have a young core playing group and the opportunity is there to have long term success. We are a family orientated club that is focused on nurturing our junior players to develop them into good senior cricketers.
