Universities Women's Cricket Club

The Universities Women's Cricket Club was formed in 2003. It is a club dedicated solely to women’s cricket and is backed by both Sydney University and University of NSW, and is open to all women, whether you attend university or not. We are based at both Sydney University, Camperdown and University NSW, Kingsford. The club currently has first, second and third grade teams, along with an U/17 (Brewer Shield) team, competing in the Sydney Women's Grade Competition. The club also has a junior arm which enters two teams catering for players ranging in age from 8 to 15 years old in the Sydney Rivers Junior Cricket Association. First grade, Second grade and Brewer Shield play on Sunday, while 3rd grade play on Saturday. The matches are a mixture of Twenty 20 and one day format.
