South Yarra Soccer Club

We compete in State League three South East, training twice a week on a Tuesday and Thursday at Fawkner Park at 6.45pm. The first league game is scheduled to start at the end of March running to the start of September. The level we play at is competitive, this year is the clubs 90th anniversary and we will be looking to challenge for the title. We will hold trials for all new players at Fawkner Park on the 9th and 11th January with a trial game on Sat 13th Jan 2018. All successful players will join preseason with the existing squad 16th January 2018. (if you don't make the Saturday team we have a number of very competitive Sunday teams that you can try out for) We have a great club culture with a number of nationalities represented throughout the club - Australian, English, Irish, Scottish, French, Argentinian, Moroccan, Kenyan to name a few. Many players meet their best friends and develop strong social networks. At present every Monday at 6.30pm a few of the players meet and run The Tan (3.8kms) to keep fresh and get involved prior to preseason.
