About Touch-Football in Australia

Touch football is a non-contact variation of rugby league in which tackles are made by touching rather than tackling the ball carrier. It is one of Australia's most popular social sports, offering a fast-paced, inclusive game suitable for mixed gender and all fitness levels.

Getting Started

Touch Football Australia affiliated associations run competitions in every Australian state and territory. Teams of six compete on a half-size field in games of approximately 45 minutes. No tackle experience is needed and all ages are welcome.
