I am looking for a belay partner to go outdoor sport-climbing with me. Although I am relatively new to outdoor climbing, I have been indoor climbing a fair bit recently. I am also proficient in other outdoor-related rope sports such as canyoning and caving, with many transferrable skills. I don't yet have rope, but I do have a harness, helmet, shoes, some quickdraws and a belay device. My main availability is weekends. I am based in Wollongong, so I am keen to meet in most crags south of Sydney, including Nowra.

I've climbed indoors and outdoors for a number of years. After some training in the gym I can lead climb outdoors traditional and sports routes up to around grade 21. I've had about 4 years of not climbing but looking to climb in the gym 1 or 2 times a week. So I will definitely be climbing at beginner to intermediate whilst I get that muscle memory reconnected again!
