Anyone up for river runs on the weekend? Some of my haunts include thomson, mitchell, macallister, latrobe, yarra, big rivers and im always up to exploring new runs. A fairly high stamina required as most runs are usually about 18km of paddling on mostly grade 2 and 3 rivers, and sometimes a Long walk/Ride/rollerblade back to the car. I have an extra sit-on-top kayak and paddle.

No experience is required. The club has all the equipment you need for training. We're entering a mixed team and will be paddling double kayaks (TK2's) for the event. We are currently paddling during the week (typically 1 or 2 evenings) and on Sundays to build up our skills and time in the boat. Let me know if you are interested in joining us!
