I have done a bit of sailing before in Auckland, used to race with a ladies team. I have no formal training or qualifications and would definately describe myself as a beginner but enthusiastic! I'm available weekends and any evening after 5.30 except Thursday. I'd love to get involved with some social sailing/ racing.

I hold a RYA 'Competant Crew' certificate. Have been actively crewing on week day and weekend racing. Anyone who needs yacht racing or trip crew, let me know - as all experience goes towards my attaining my skippers qualification.

About Sailing in Australia
Sailing is a technical and exhilarating sport that harnesses wind power to navigate the water. From single-handed dinghies to offshore ocean racing, sailing develops problem-solving, teamwork, and an intimate connection with the natural environment.
Getting Started
Australian Sailing affiliated clubs and Learn to Sail schools offer beginner courses for all ages. Crewing on a club racing boat is an excellent way to develop skills while contributing to a team. Club membership provides access to boats, coaching, and regular racing.
