I used to play squash in my early teens just against my family but haven't played since. I want to get back into it for fitness reasons and because I liked the sport. I'm looking for either a group or just a individual to play with at least once a week after 5.30pm Monday-Friday or any time over the weekend. I would prefer to stick to the south side/City area as I live about 10mins away from Hibiscus Sports Centre. If your interested and don't mind that I might be a bit slow to begin with please email me, I'm happy to start asap.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
