Hi! I am a French guy alone in Melbourne, happy and eager to play and meet new people. I used to play squash 2 times/month, I am not a real beginner but I have never taken lessons. Available from 6pm and the we. Living in south Yarra but can use public transports to go not too far.

Looking for someone to play either weekday evenings or the occasional Sunday(s). Ideally at MSAC. I played tennis at a younger age so I feel I'm a fairly decent competitor. Enjoy competition but ultimately it's about having fun and improving my health.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
