I have been playing on and off for years and that's why it's very hard for me to progress. Since moving to Canberra from Sydney 18 months ago, I have been trying to look for friends to play with me but hasn't been successful, mainly due to the settling in to both work and social environment. I live in Turner but travelling is not a problem for me. Would love to start playing regularly again. My day offs are Thursday and Friday, every alternate Saturday and every Sunday. If anyone is interested to play some casual tennis, feel free to contact me. Thanks!

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
